For the past 42 years, the London & District Ostomy Association has been dedicated to providing education, information, support and advocacy for people who have had or will have intestinal or urinary diversions. Hundreds of people have received this critically needed help from LDOA. Testimonials received over the years tell us how individuals were able to enjoy a satisfactory and rewarding quality of life because of LDOA's commitment to making a difference.

Now more than ever, we require your help if we are to continue our efforts. We have come a long way, but the need is still great. With your gift we can continue our efforts to ensure that no one faces being an ostomate without the essential information, support and advocacy they need and deserve. Making A Donation

A donation does not necessarily mean a gift of money. Time and resources are also generous ways in which you can help LDOA. For instance, all members of the Executive Committee and staff are unpaid volunteers who often pay their business expenses personally. Perhaps you have a craft or skill (pottery, ceramics, woodworking, knitting, just to name a few) or a business whereby your product or service could be donated to LDOA's draws and raffles held at each meeting.

The fastest and easiest way to make a donation is to click on any of the ads found throughout LDOA's site. Each ad you click generates a few pennies of revenue – but the pennies add up! Clicking on some of the ads as you browse the site would be most appreciated.

If you would like to make a monetary donation, please make your cheque payable to  London & District Ostomy Association  with a short note advising us of your donation (so that we do not interpret your donation as a membership fee) and mail to:

Unfortunately, we are unable to issue a tax receipt for your monetary donation. However, as a means of showing you our appreciation for your thoughtfulness and generosity, everyone who makes any type of donation will be shown on our  Donators page unless, for privacy reasons, you do not wish to have your name made public.
